Francisco Gil

Partner

Francisco concentrates his practice on corporate law and international corporate and commercial cross-border matters. For more than 30 years, Francisco has advised Mexican and foreign clients in all aspects of doing business in Mexico, specializing in M&A, financings, foreign investment and cross-border transactions. He has been involved in numerous complex transactions over his extensive practice experience with local and foreign clients.

Patricio Iturralde Rosas Priego

Patricio centers his practice in rendering legal corporate services, specifically in the areas of companies, agreements, international trade, foreign investment, real estate, business structuring, maquiladoras, joint ventures and alliances, mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence, industrial property, immigration law and personal data protection.

Patricio holds his JD from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and was admitted to Practice in July 1995.

In addition, he has participated in the following courses, seminars and specialties: (I) Legal English by Legal Ease International, Inc.; (II) International Agreements under the UNIDROIT Rules by the Universidad Panamericana (UP); (III) Introduction to the American Legal System, International Agreements and International Arbitration by the University of San Diego School of Law; (IV) Judicial Branch of the United States of America by the Universidad Panamericana (UP); (V) Preparation of Agreements and Contracts by the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM); (VI) Master in American and International Law by St. Mary’s University; (VII) Specialty in Civil and Trading Proceedings Laws by the Universidad Panamericana (UP); (VIII) Specialty in Banking and Finance Law by the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM); and Specialty in Industrial Property Law by the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).

Ariel Santillán

Ariel centers his activities in rendering legal corporate services with more than 10 years of experience, specially preparing all kind of agreements. On Corporate matters, his counseling includes preparation of legal documents to incorporate new companies, business structuring, foreign investment, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, legal due diligence, intellectual property, copyrights, immigration law and personal data protection. Ariel obtained his Law Degree from Universidad del Valle de México (UVM) and did a Specialization in Corporate Law at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM).

María Amparo Escalante

María Amparo is a senior counsel in the Corporate Practice Group in Gil Elorduy & Iturralde, focusing on general corporate and cross-border transactions.

María Amparo earned her Law Degree from Universidad La Salle and was admitted to practice in 2006.

María Amparo was an international associate in the Detroit office of Butzel Long.

María Amparo has advised Mexican and foreign companies with over ten years of experience in corporate general matters, complex regulatory requirements and shareholder agreements. Likewise, has represented corporate clients in negotiations related to commercial and administrative matters about tax and immigration proceedings for top management employees.

Fanny Laura Fernández Morales

Fanny studied her Law Degree at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (“UNAM”).

She centers her practice on providing corporate legal services on topics such as: incorporation of companies, shareholders/partners meetings, powers of attorneys and civil and commercial agreements.

Also, she has attended to several academic courses related to contracts, corporate governance and corporate law.

Ana Belem Muñiz Martínez

Ana centers her practice and has experience in corporate general matters, such as incorporation of companies, shareholders’ rights and liability limitations, meetings minutes, Immigration Law, Industrial Property, preparation of agreements and personal data protection.

Ana holds her JD from Universidad La Salle where she did a Specialization and a Master in Corporate Law.

In addition, Ana has participated in several academic courses at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (“IMPI”) and Principal Tax Obligations of Companies in Mexico (“UNAM”).

Eduardo Cruz

Eduardo is currently studying his Law Degree at Universidad Humanitas. Eduardo centers his activities on providing support to our legal team on general corporate topics, including immigration matters, federal and local filings mainly before the Ministry of National Defense, among other authorities.

He centers her activities in giving support to our legal team related to general corporate matters, including immigration procedures, industrial and intellectual property, personal data protection, among others.

Marco has attended several academic courses related to industrial and intellectual property procedures.

Julio has conducted numerous labor restructures, employment terminations, individual and collective labor negotiations, implemented all kind of employment incentive programs for companies, labor and employment due diligence procedures and has supported many M&A transactions regarding their employment and social security component.

Adolfo Graña

Adolfo concentrates his practice and has extensive experience in all kind of labor and employment matters. Adolfo is an expert in Mexican law recognized by the Federal Courts of various US states (Florida, Texas and Colorado) with broad experience providing legal advice in international arbitration, mediation and agreements.
